The Art of Gratitude

Good morning beautiful friends! 🤍

Another day, another opportunity for greatness!

Today, I want to talk about the art of gratitude. The Bible speaks about gratitude and giving thanks over and over again. Not just when life is easy or everything is going our way, but in every circumstance.

Gratitude doesn’t mean everything in our lives is perfect. It means we intentionally choose to recognize what is good, even in the middle of what is hard. It’s noticing the little things we sometimes take for granted. The people who show up for us, a safe place to come home to, laughter with someone we love, the ability to work, another morning, another opportunity.

I also think there’s something so powerful about the connection between gratitude and peace. When we live with a spirit of appreciation, we make a little less room for comparison, frustration, and negativity and a little more room for contentment and peace. 🤍

So today, let’s practice the art of gratitude. Find something ordinary and recognize how extraordinary it really is. Tell someone you appreciate them. Thank God for something you normally overlook. And if something doesn’t go your way today, pause and find one thing in that moment that you can still be thankful for.

There is always something. 🤍

Let’s go into today with grateful hearts and remind ourselves: we may not have everything we want, but there was once a time when some of the things we have today were exactly what we prayed for.

I’m grateful for each of you. I love you! 🫶🏼
